ABR (AI Behavior Regression)

AI behavior regression, or ABR, refers to unexpected performance drops in model behavior after updates to prompts, models, or infrastructure. Previously working scenarios may produce worse outputs. For production systems, ABR is a critical risk that requires monitoring, test suites, and controlled rollout strategies, so Ai Messages remain reliable and on-brand even as underlying components evolve. AI behavior regression, abbreviated ABR, describes situations where model behavior degrades after changes to prompts, models, or infrastructure. Previously successful scenarios may start producing worse outputs. For production systems, ABR is a key risk that motivates regression testing, canary releases, and careful monitoring of AI message quality over time.
